WEEK 3 WRAP-UP: STATEMENTS MADE, UNBEATENS STAND TALL, AND THE LEAGUE JUST GOT REAL

Week 3 may have been the biggest week of the season so far.

Heavyweight matchups. Surprise upsets. Dominant performances. Statement wins.

The undefeateds kept rolling, contenders made noise, and the Player of the Week race is absolutely stacked.

CINCINNATI PASSES THE TEST

Cincinnati 75, Notre Dame 66

This was the marquee matchup of the week—and Cincinnati answered.

Notre Dame came in as a dangerous squad with shot makers and playmakers, but the Bearcats stayed composed, defended, and made winning plays when it mattered most.

Jake Collins delivered a monster performance with 28 points and 12 rebounds, helping Cincinnati improve to 3-0 and remain the team to beat.

Three games. Three wins. Cincinnati looks legit.

MIAMI SHOCKS BAYLOR

Miami 73, Baylor 66

One of the biggest surprises of the young season.

Miami entered Week 3 hungry for their first win—and played like it.

Energy. Toughness. Team basketball.

Shant led the charge with 19 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists, while Brien owned the glass with 10 points, 12 rebounds, and 2 blocks.

Miami gets in the win column, and Baylor suddenly has questions at 1-2.

CLEMSON RESPONDS IN A BIG WAY

Clemson 72, Marquette 49

After getting punched by Cincinnati last week, Clemson came back with something to prove.

And they made it clear early.

Defense was suffocating. The pace was relentless. The energy never dropped.

DQ exploded for 31 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals in one of the best individual performances of the season so far.

That’s how you bounce back.

DUKE JUST KEEPS WINNING

Duke 74, Providence 63

No drama. No panic. Just business.

Duke quietly continues to stack wins and remains undefeated at 3-0.

KJ led the way with 24 points and 3 rebounds, as the Blue Devils continue to look like one of the league’s most disciplined and dangerous teams.

They may be the quietest undefeated team—but definitely not one to overlook.

ST. LOUIS MAKES A STATEMENT

St. Louis 92, Florida 75

This was a warning shot.

Against a previously unbeaten Florida team, St. Louis unleashed one of the most explosive offensive performances of Season 8.

40 was everywhere—28 points, 9 rebounds, 9 assists, and 3 steals—coming one assist shy of a triple-double.

And somehow, he wasn’t even the leading scorer.

Amari dropped 30 points, as St. Louis lit it up and handed Florida its first loss.

If that offense keeps clicking? Watch out.
